After years of not being able to because of farm work constraints, I now have help from my farming daughter and I could go! (She had young farmers club too so we both got out!) I was very nervous, but excited too. I know one lady there but didn't know if she would be there (she was). It was cold and pretty drizzly last night so they said there were a lot less people there last night. All were very welcoming. We split into two groups (faster and slower) and ran around town, (something new for me!) We did 6k and fastish although they did keep checking if anyone needed to slow at all. It was good and I'm going next week (3 free sessions). Next week is training as they alternate Tuesdays. It can be tough I hear, but useful π so I'll try!
I tried a running club!: After years of not... - Bridge to 10K
I tried a running club!
Wow! Well done you for being brave and having a go π I really hope that it's something you enjoy as it goes along π
Oh well done! π€©π€©π€© Iβve been keeping checks on our local running group/club so have that in my sights for maybe later this or next year!
Good idea, hope you'll keep enjoying it! Might be good to challenge yourself as well.
Sounds fab, well done πππ I'm more of a solo runner but I see loads of people running in groups while walking the dog and they always seem to be having a lot of fun βΊοΈ
Good for you Well done πππββοΈ
I did the same and loved it. I joined one closer to home but that eventually fizzled, so itβs solo all the way for me now Really useful when youβre finding your running feet though
Have fun out there π
