Don't abandon your community

I hadn't posted for many months and when I posted yesterday - in a dispirited condition, several lovely runners responded - I was so grateful; you raised me up. Then this morning - Catherine and I are having Valentine's Day early as we are both working tomorrow, so we went out for a run together. She runs slower than me - shorter legs - so we did 2k together then she turned back home to do her blog - and I continued and continued ... and ended up with 9k! I was genuinely amazed as last week I could not make myself do more than 4. As I approached home a song started - Fever to the Form - and the endorphins flowed. Oh My Word, what a transformation. As Jo Whylie might say, "there's no rhyme nor reason". And the lesson is, don't abandon your community.
