I have let myself slip recently, going from regular runs 2-3 times a week, got my distance up to just over 8K then….. I don’t know why but it all just dropped off🤷♀️
So I’ve gone back to week 4 C25K to get me going again, Sarah Millican is egging me on and I even went out this morning in the rain. Ran a little further after the podcast had finished, 4.87k 10.02km which I know is really slow, but I did it and felt quite satisfied at the end. Onwards to week 5…. Happy 🏃🏼

Nice run for you today Lablove, remember to take all your runs slow and steady, talking about running in the rain, one of the Christmas presents I got was a good pair of running and walking socks and a light waterproof jacket, so now no excuse for me not to go a run if it is raining, have a great running 2022.
Well done! Haven't run in 3 weeks and have to get used to new running shoes. So I might do C25K myself again too, despite having run 10 miles 5 weeks ago.
That 10 miler was a thorn in my eye. I wanted to reach it and it had to be then and there, because it was nagging at me the whole time. But it's not something I plan to repeat regularly. I prefer 5K and 10K. Nevertheless haven't run in 3 weeks or more and need to get back into it. Feeling a bit down with the winter blues and I think that restarting something like C25K might help me in getting back into it PLUS getting used to my new shoes.
