Sunday morning 6km run

Things didn’t bode well this morning. I hadn’t run for 8 days and my legs were still stiff from a long hairy drive on Friday night.

My weather app said it would stop raining at 6 am but it was still going at daybreak. Still I forced myself out by putting running gear on.

And the rain stopped immediately! At first my legs were moving faster than I had expected but they kept it up for the first 2 km.

The killer final hill starts at 5km and suddenly so much traffic! What were sane people doing out at 8.30 am on a damp Sunday morning in November? Luckily, they avoided me.

And a new PB out of nowhere by 45 seconds. I’m not sure what the moral of this story is. But happy running everyone 🌞🌞

Excellent. The moral is "you gotta be in it to win it" 🌞

Yes. I think making ourselves run by putting on the kit is useful. 🤨
