4km in 34'00"!

I haven't posted for a while; just keeping it real!

But this was good (for an old fat girl anyway) - average pace 8'35" over 4km. The pace is the same for my 30'00" run three days ago and it's good to see that I kept the pace right up to the end really comfortably. Time for another ParkRun I think!

Well done from another old girl!!

I love it when people run a similar speed to me, does my head in when they say things like, 'ran at a very gentle 5'55"' and suchlike - mind you your maximum of 4'11" is very impressive. The only time I ever got that sort of speed was when I drove home from a run but forgot to stop the Garmin!!

Yep. Do Parkrun. I am slower than you at the moment. I won't be much faster ( if at all) once I am back to full fitness again (more like fatness in my case).

Well done :)

Just to tame a bit the beast, do not neglect the... recovery time now, that's at least what make 50% of the progress here :)

it's good to recover a bit to avoid any injuries, and to keep the motivation high :)

enjoy the feelinnnngggg, it's what will push you for more and more

I'm being very good about leaving at least a day between runs, and often two. But yes, I'm aware I've been lucky so far!
