Well done .. I had a look outside at 6.30 am today and decided it was not only too dark but also foggy , so turned over 😂 you’re an inspiration Doris
Good walk/run for today Doris8, yes it is getting darker in the morning now, I note the time of sunrise and set off for my morning run at sunrise.
Well done you! I've really noticed the darker mornings and evenings this last week.
I'm not running at the moment, or walking for that matter, as I'm suffering with my back. Great to know you are persevering and still getting out there
Oh that’s good, and early seems to suit you
I love getting out in those fresh early mornings, and with lingering mist I find them magical. I struggle to run if the temperature is over 15 and am actually looking forward to Autumn.. That was a good walk/run of yours...my 5k runs are around 40/43...so you are walking nearly as fast as I run!! What stops you increasing the run to 2minutes?
Hi Mormor 1 trying gradually as osteoporosis quite bad in back and hip so taking it easy and building up. Most sites u go into they say don’t jog but it’s hard when you are used to jogging and having to walk so thought I would try some odd runs in now and again and I’m more of a plodder and don’t lift feet very high nearer the ground .
Hello!! 👋👋 sounds like you’re back, you runner you! Fab stuff! Hope that felt great! Nice going!
Sounds like a good plan and time is tidy too, you must be walking quite briskly.Hopefully the pain will subside and bones will strengthen as a result of your efforts.
Enjoy your exercise and best wishes ☺️
I am sure you are right to intersperse a few short jogs into your walk. The change of muscles gives you a bit of a rest and hopefully will help to strengthen your bones too. Those websites are written by non runners and many health professionals would still advise older people not to run, it's bad for you 😂
