First run of week 6 on the Magic Plan

I'm still going - 4k this morning. The first 200 metres were a very gentle downhill straight, followed by 200 metres UP a steeper hill, which I must admit I struggled with. However I forced myself to keep going, taking it gently to get my breath back - the next few hundred metres were either flat or very slightly uphill, followed by a very welcome downhill stretch to the riverbank.

It was all flat and relatively comfortable from there, until the final 400 metres which brought me back uphill to my starting point, which I found a lot easier than the initial uphill bit at the beginning of my run.

So on I go - 5k on Friday then my first 9k on Sunday morning. That 10k is looming closer!
