Got up late, so was running when it’s warmer, and there’s more traffic. Felt tired but dragged myself out, walked for 5 minutes and started running. Without the pressure of having to be back by a certain time, my tiredness disappeared and I ended up doing the Gadbrook run - it’s a 7k run taking in a long quiet road, with a farm that is approached through an elegant avenue of trees. I stopped to take a few pics and hope I’ve shared the best one. Such an enjoyable run.

That is a lovely photo. Running on days off is special isn’t it, I always feel that when I run on a work day I’m just ticking something off on my to do list, then on to the next thing. You sound as though you had a smashing run, well done! 😊😊😊
Yep ran today and felt the pressure as it was a workday. Wanted to do 30 mins running and so I missed the warmup walk. Made 5k and still made my 8.30 meeting, but wouldn’t like to make a habit of this.
