I was out and about fairly early today, a nice run up the tow path - thought I would consolidate last weeks slow and steady 9k. I started really well and got a bit of speed up half way through, as the 9k was coming to an end I had a bit more in the tank and thought Iβd go for the 10k πββοΈ. I slowed down and made it to the finish post - yay me π₯³. Looking at the stats after, it was a fairly slow run but I did have unintentional negative splits which was a bonus. Very pleased with myself. I had a massive bowl of porridge and blueberries too celebrate!

I similarly originally went out to do a 9km run and ended up doing 10km instead. That was several months ago. It's a distance I now like. I've already done two 10km runs this week!
