Hello again and thank you for your great responses to my last question. What do you think about running on a specific rhythm/cadence as Laura in C25K+ suggests? I have to admit that these podcasts have helped me a lot to increase my speed, but I am stacked with this approach and I need always a beat to run to and my options are limited (audiofuel or music on specific bpm)

I have just started running to the podrunner podcasts, that have dedicated episodes to various BPMs.
But usually I chose a specific BPM Spotify playlist (example: just search on Spotify for 145BPM). There will be some users who have created their own lists.
I do ‘like’ the ones in my pace, and also now use my favourites list in Spotify to run to. Increasingly I add a few songs with higher bpms to slowly increase my pace.
I am also one of the runners who best run to music and a specific beat. Music makes all the difference to me, and I don’t like running naked or to talk podcasts , although I do sometimes.

I don't know, but it's something I've started thinking about as I think it's important to be able to shorten my stride length and take more, smaller, steps. Looking at my Garmin stats in the past I have always run at the same cadence - a steady 160 bpm or so. When I go faster my stride gets longer but my cadence stays the same. I think I need to change that!
