I think many of us will be grateful for slightly cooler temperatures, but if not, how about an ultramarathon in temperatures too hot for helicopters to fly, tarmac that can melt your shoes and sunny enough that the inside of your nostrils will burn...

Badwater is legendary, even more so are the runners who turn around after getting through it and re-run it in reverse to earn the "double". One guy did a "triple" and Marshall Ulrich holds the "Quad" for doing back to back doubles....
