Teehee πŸ˜‚ Apparently I’m 37! 🀣

β€’29 Replies

Well, revisiting C25k while running with my daughter clearly suits me - it’s knocking years off my β€œtrue” age πŸ˜ƒ, making Mr Garmin my new best friend! I’m two decades past my thirties, but don’t tell 🀫 πŸ˜‰.

Well according to Mr Garmin I’m 43 and if you believe that you believe anything but it’s good isn’t it?

β€’ in reply toSueAppleRun

It's so funny! I thought that I had better take a photo in case it never happens again and Mr Garmin ages me next week!

April 2020 I slowly ran further and further until I ran my first 8k and Mr Garmin put me at 79 I was a little grumpy 😠

I want to be blue

Nice to be 37 again Delly dot, I have not got Mr Garmin during my runs so I am not sure what age he would say I am with the all the walking, running and bike rides I do. 😊 🚢 πŸƒπŸΎ 🚲

β€’ in reply toAlMorr

I’m sure you would be 21 again Al πŸ˜‰!

Totally agree with Delly dot you would be a 21 πŸ€—

Don’t you just love these numbers Garmin comes up with. Happy running πŸ€—

It's a great boost to my ego, that's for sure! It does strike me as completely random though, as yesterday I was 47......, still a few years below my true age, but much more credible. I think Mr Garmin is flirting and I am fully prepared that it could nose-dive completely in the opposite direction on my next run πŸ˜†πŸ€£

I’d suggest you ignore garmin any time he goes in the wrong direction πŸ˜‚

The lowest it goes is 20.

β€’ in reply tonowster

Now that would be hilarious! πŸ˜†It's jumped 10 years in one day, maybe I can get it to do the same next time?

My weight has a habit of jumping in the wrong direction in one day. Numbers, numbers, numbers!

I love it when Mr G is kind, but he is just so fickle!! Not unusual for him to add or deduct 5 years from my age on a regular basis .I think general advice is to feel pleased when he is kind and say "how can he possibly accurately know my true VO2 max with such limited data!" when he is being less polite!

Happy running!

πŸ˜† double teehee !!

Maybe I ought to do C25K also again, Mr. Garmin is not impressed with my slow jogging! Doing well Delly-dot!

He knocked 7 years off my age, such a sweet talker β€οΈπŸ˜‚

β€’ in reply toYesletsgo

He’s definitely a charmer, though I’ll call him something far less complimentary if he starts ageing me instead!

You've just got to love Mr Garmin πŸ₯° Once he told me I was 2 years younger than my son πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

Anything that’s good for our egos is fine by me, that’s what I say 😁

Lap it up DD! He started me off 15 years older and kept telling me to stop and have a rest! πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜† But now I'm the same as Sola and that makes me nearly 20 years younger so me and Mr G are besties at the mo!!πŸ˜‰

He's been very pleased with me lately. This is the peak I hit on a hot short run earlier this week. It's highly unlikely I'll stay this high which is why I took a screenshot.
