Quick morning 30min mojo-rific run through wet grass, some navigating of puddles, feeling the squishy-ness of my new shoes, and alongside a long stretch next to a field being followed by a young calf curious enough to jog the stretch with me.
I was glad there was a fence inbetween us, but it was so cute how she trotted beside me, stopping when I was trying to take a picture (not succeeding very well), and keeping up with me again until I tried taking another picture ๐๐คฃ.
Cow to 5k!
Happy running everyone!

I'm not scared of cows, but I have to admit that when they a group of runaway cows blocked the road a few years ago when walking through the fields, I did not feel like crawling between them to continue my route! Luckily some folks came and herded them back into their field.
A stoat is similar to a weasel... slightly bigger & ginger colour with a black tipped tail- in winter they change to having a white coat, but the black tail tip remains - then theyโre called an ermine.I must say I did a double & triple take when it appeared and raced along beside me โ a very unexpected running companion. ๐
It's nice to have a wee bovine buddy! There's a herd of young ones in a field near me and they're the same - whenever I run past they run alongside ๐๐. (That stretch of path has been labelled Cow Poo Sprint by Strava ๐๐).
