Can't hide my excitement today, massive day for football fans 😁😁😁
Up and out for 06:30, warm up, stretches...then the return of dance music and Coach Bennett to my run! First time in ages, I've been doing audio books and podcasts for month and there great for passing time but if you really want to move quicker... Classic Dance all the way! 💪🏻
I wasnt lightning quick today by any stretch of the imagination, didn't once get under 5 mins per km BUT was consistent with my pace and didn't let myself drop over 5:30 per km.
The reward was a second fastest ever 5km time of 26:12! 😁
Very pleased to see my times heading back in the right direction.
Yesterday's food intake went a little over as got told late on that I was cooking and we had nothing in 🤣 (she was angling for a takeaway!) so went for the northern tradition of "freezer soup" literally take all the open gear out of the freezer, bung them in the oven and eat 🤣🤣 it wasn't until I worked out the calories that are in Turkey drumsticks, onion rings, tempura chicken nuggets etc that I really regretted it! 😱 Wow we let our kids eat some crap!
