A soggy but fresh early run 💦🌧🏃‍♀️

Ha ha that was the earliest I’ve ever run, and all the while I was thinking but you’ll feel great after! I actually feel pretty pooped now but I put that down to my 2nd vaccination 2 days ago - I felt brilliant yesterday and thought I’d avoided any side effects but it seems not 😊.

Anyway, it was light rain and a fairly fresh breeze. I wore my peaked cap to keep the rain off my glasses but I was glad of bare arms because it’s still pretty close. I saw a few runners in waterproof jackets and thought how hot they must be.

A nice 5k before work, followed by a shower, and just waiting for my porridge to do its thing. TGIF is all I can say! Have a smashing day everyone 😊😊😊.

Ah thanks! Same here, the fewer clothes the better - apart from feeling a bit tired, the rain was lovely 😊.

Can't beat an early run! 👍🏻 Well done you, I stick with shirts and vest as long as it's still warm, bit of rain is quite pleasent sometimes 😁

I agree, it won’t be nagging at me for the rest of the day now ✅. I did think to do it after work, but that hasn’t even happened once, so I figured today wouldn’t be any different! The rain was lovely. 😊😊😊

Well done on getting an early run in !I did one 2 days after my 2nd jab and was absolutely exhausted !

Took me around 6 days before I was back to normal (whatever that is 🤪)

I do think those other runners must have felt hot indeed. I have a running rain jacket too, but only wore it 1 time. I was soaking wet from sweating so much in it! Now I try to avoid rain, but if I can't avoid it, it will be without a jacket!

I agree, I could only imagine how sweaty they were under their jackets. It has to be really cold and wet to wear one 😁.

At one point I got a thin waterproof jacket. I've never worn it. I don't want to be "boil in the bag".
