I did half an hour interval training today (despite what the NRC app tells me) and I did it the day after my 6.4K run. Despite my big tummy I’m feeling fitter than I was pre lockdown when I was slim and running 5K three times a week. This training plan is really doing the trick for me. Really hoping with the three pronged disciplines of endurance, interval and fartlek running I will be running the half marathon without worrying about my ability to stand up let alone run. We shall see and hopefully the weather on September 26th won’t be 30 degrees!! Onwards and upwards!

I’m not surprised you’re feeling fitter with your schedule! Good for you 💪 And I think it’s fair to say that you’ll probably not be standing at the HM 🙂
Haha thank you! I have a much needed rest day tomorrow which usually means I lift weights. The frequency of the schedule seems to suit me which was unexpected. My knees have actually eased slightly today so I’ll keep stretching, massaging and volteroling them!
