Naughty treat time

Well after hacking around 3 minutes of my 10k time over a couple of weeks, I noticed my shoes have started rubbing my heel. Been debating changing them for a couple of months and this was the final push! They’ve lasted around 750km so can’t complain.

A trip to the running shop saw me leaving £130 lighter but with these nice Mizuno wave inspire 17 shoes.

They’re taking a little getting used to, but will be fine I’m sure. I’d have gone with ASICS again, but the shop are struggling with their deliveries.

Who needs justification for new shoes ! By the way I’ve bought several pairs of ASICS directly from their website and delivery is very fast, normally only a day or two. Also worth signing up on ASICS website as you get access to their shoe sales ahead of the public sale.

Brilliant call, 750km was a good distance to reach in your old pair. I wish you many happy hours running in your new shoes🤗
