Toe pain

Was doing so well, long run up to 15km, when I started getting pain when walking in my foot. Think it’s my second and third toes. No swelling or redness apparent and not sore to touch. (Right foot only) It’s a stabbing type pain as I push off from that foot, but ironically it doesn’t occur when running, though I suspect running is the cause. Will rest up for a week and see if that makes a difference, if not I guess it’s another visit to the doctors. Not really keen on that as I’m already interacting with them on several other fronts. Very frustrating as running/walking is the only form of exercise available to me atm. I might have to look into a static bike arrangement!

Ouch, sounds painful. I hope it responds to rest. Never feel bad about the number of issues you are presenting to the doctor - it’s just luck if a bundle occurs at the same time. However do book a long enough appointment to cover all you want to discuss. Alternatively is maybe a podiatrist a better person to contact as this injury is their specialty rather than seeing a general practitioner who may just say either rest, stop running or see a podiatrist. 🤗
