Brilliant news, the plan linked by Instructor57 is fantastic. You can do the weekly runs in any order to suit your mood/weather just complete each week before moving on. If you want, do speed work on the short runs but definitely slow down for the longer run each week. Start looking for long routes - suddenly 10k needs lots of route unless your willing to run loops. Happy running 🤗

Hello. I got to 10K by extension of one run per week. So if you are running 5K x 3 times per week, pick one of the 5K runs and each week add 500 meters onto it. So you are running 5K twice per week and 1 run then gets extended by 500 meters each week. It is a nice gradual way to increase distance in manageable chunks.Best of luck.
