Couldn't agree more with you and Joni. Glad to hear the ticker is still working and a bit of running might keep the lungs clear for a longer.Happy running!
Had I read your post 2 years ago my thoughts would have been "Well if you have got to give up running because of your health then that's what you have to do.". That would have been before I started running. Now, I can really appreciate what that means and what affect that must have on someone if they are told they have to stop.
Good luck with the running and I hope your heath allows you to continue for as long as you want.
Iām playing catch-up on the forum and have only just seen this HF but Iām so glad youāve been given the ok to start running again! I know youāll be careful and Iām pretty sure youāll enjoy it! Happy running!
100, wow! On my comeback, I struggled with a 130 target. I now average under 130 on some easy runs but I'd struggle to run with an average under 100. Still, I guess we're all different; running with that average suggests to me that your heart must be in reasonaly good nick (I spent some time in cardiology but as a customer).
That was a slow run at only 130 cadence. Funny things, tickers: during my walks whilst I wasnāt running even on the steepest hills it wouldnāt rise above 120.
