Just completed C25K and thought maybe I could run further. Looking forward to increasing my times on 5K too but have a foot problem atm that seems to be persistent. Hoping to run through it now I have new trainers. It’s years since I last ran so really chuffed as I am 60 this year and never thought I would be running again.
Continuing after 5K: Just completed C25K and... - Bridge to 10K

If you have just completed C25k then a period of consolidation would be strongly recommended before increasing either pace or distance , here the link to the consolidation club post healthunlocked.com/couchto5......
Definitely spend a few weeks consolidating your 30 minute runs before stepping up to increase time or distance. Instructor57’s link to the Consolidation Club is a must and then when you are ready take a look at The Magic Plans to help you build up to 60 minutes or 10k.
A word of caution about your foot injury though - I would strongly advise against the “just running through it” method as this invariably makes things worse. A period of rest might be all you need. The time during Consolidation is prime injury time for new runners as we tend to push too far too soon. Best to be safe, rest a bit so you can run on happy feet 🦶 😊

Thanks for that. I reheat for two days after each run atm but worried if I leave it much longer I will lose some of my fitness and stamina up the hill round here in west Devon 😂
