Hello, I have lurked on here for a few weeks now after completing couch to 5K. I love reading everyone’s posts and given how helpful you all are I’m hoping someone can answer me question where google has failed me!
I downloaded the NRC app and since graduating have been using it. I don’t like the guided runs, I love a podcast while running, so I’ve been setting a distance as I like hearing when I’ve done a KM and what my pace is.
My question is if I set it for say 5k but I want to keep running will it continue to tell me when I reach 6 then 7 etc or will it stop at the 5k?
Thanks in advance!

I can measure the distance easily enough on the Apple Watch but I don’t like looking at the watch while running. I like that the NRC app tells you as you’ve completed each km the time you’ve been running and your average pace as you are doing the run. As opposed to just seeing all the info at the end. Does strava do that?
Yes, vixp , Strava does that, including the free version. It's ten months since I completed C25K and I still haven't bought a running watch, thanks to a combination of lockdown and indecisiveness!
Hope you find what you need. I do use NRC at times, but rather for the audio guided runs.
My go to app is Runkeeper, which from my experience has the most functionality in its free version. And I use it with podcasts, music, also with other apps as zombies, run.
So I don’t think I will ever move to a running watch, as my smartphone gives me so much more choice of apps, functionality, etc.
Good luck with finding the right settings! And enjoy!
