Very well done. A good stretch after your run is always good. But you might be sore tomorrow and the next day. But time is a healer. If you are sore it just means that new muscles were worked hard. That is a good thing. After a few more longer runs you wont feel any more pain. Happy running and best wishes on your move.

Congratulations on your first 10K π πππ A good stretch and a hot bath should see you ok .and I like to do some more stretching later in the day so nothing seezes up π²ππ₯³

If the soreness disappears when you warm up, it's DOMS, and you can run with it (at a lower intensity than the exercise that induced it). If it doesn't, you shouldn't run. Either way, always stretch after every run and take active rest the day after a hard run. Active rest means doing something that doesn't induce the same strains and impacts that running causes. Good ones are swimming, walking or cycling.

Well done on your 10k in a new running country! Go claim your 10k badge - you earned it! ππ€ΈββοΈππ₯³πββοΈππ₯π ππͺ
