Desperate to run.

I'd really appreciate some advice guys.

I've been running for 30mins for a couple of months now at least three times a week. Ever since starting C25K, I've had this strange sensation on the skin on the outside of my right thigh, it feels scolded and sore but not painful at all during runs, when I touch that area, the sensation is different from the other leg. I did at one point think it was because my phone rubbing against it in my leggings pocket, but I know that isn't the case.

I now have groin discomfort, and the whole of my right leg feels tight, even to walk. I haven't run for a week now and am desperate to get back out there but I know I probably shouldn't.

I always do the warm up and cool down walks, have good trainers.

Has anyone else experienced anything likes this, do you think it's all from one single problem?

Sorry about your injury Gnomio but I would not advise you to run, if those injuries persist you should seek professional medical advice.

Sorry to read this - I know how frustrating it is to be stuck on the injury couch! I would advise paying for a good sports physio if you are able to - they really are worth their weight in gold. Good luck.🤞🙂

I do know a good Physio, I had a session with her just before we went into the first lockdown so didn't ever go back for a follow up, clearly its time I sorted it.

Greetings from the IC 👋 I agree with the advice already given- stop running until you've had some professional advice 😬 you will thank yourself in the long run. Hope you're feeling better soon 🤞
