Running regularly 6-8km now experiencing sharp posterior knee pain when walking. Anyone have an answer? Running is ok but feel I should listen to my body and rest?

I think I would rest and consult a physio if you can, hopefully you will recover quickly

How long has it been happening? Are you doing any other types of exercise too?
Thanks for reply, atm no other apart from dog walking. When we can I play racquet sports & swim. I probably need to rest 😢
It's only happening when you're not running? How long has it been painful?
My gut feeling is a difference between your running gait and your walking gait, maybe something to do with shoes. (Take with a pinch of salt. I'm a software engineer, not a doctor.)
