Ok so I know I shouldn't be only just trying these while training for my first half marathon, but it's only while listening to the Women's running podcasts I've felt inspired to try them!! I'll try and post the link to this one...a free trial from Auro. I thought they might inspire someone here to try too!!

If you get your podcasts elsewhere search for "women's running podcasts" episode 26

I really like women's running podcasts although I haven't listened for a while as I hate wearing earbuds. But they certainly helped inspire me through a few rough patches.Good luck with your intervals

I've never tried intervals, or anything else that resembles proper grown-up running. Well done you, I'm impressed!

It was actually quite good fun! It went quick too with it being talked through. It actually ended while I was away from home so I jogged home and then played the cool down exercises again. (I might even incorporate the warm up and cool down too as I am bad at that 🙊

What was the regime they put you through?

Thanks for sharing this. I've just read it and it sounds interesting. I normally run on country lanes, so I listen for cars rather than anything else. It did motivate me to get out of bed and do some planks though!! Good luck with this, I hope it helps. 😊

I'm on country lanes but quite lucky this time of year the hedges are low so I can usually see before hear vehicles. I do run on roads with only 1 bud in. Also as I tend to go out early I often don't see anyone!! We have had quite a discussion on wearing headphones in this house, but both tried now and find one ear only works to hear traffic. (Pretty low volume too) I'm dreading electric vehicles....going to make it much harder.

Thanks. I might try that. 😊

Today is very very windy so I wouldn't wear them at all today! Then I find I keep thinking there's something coming and its just wind in the telephone wires!!
