I just did a half marathon!!🎉

So today is 2 days before my one year anniversary of completing C25K and I just did a half marathon in 2 hours 20!! I’m super proud of myself and to be honest still can’t believe I can run A mile let alone 13.1! And my friend who got me into running got me a medal to celebrate, my first bit of bling!🎉

Reaching it around the anniversary of C25K graduation, like you did, actually seems achievable now. Who'd have thought it?

I'll bet the you of 18 months ago would have thought the you of today mad for even thinking about it.

Running a half marathon or for for over 2 hours is still on my "how on earth is that possible list"- I will get there on day but in the meantime its lovely to hear about other people who started out on the c25k like I did and achieving it and making it seem doable!

Four of the ladies I work with have given C25k a go on my recommendation and have graduated. I’ve bought them all medals too. 🏅 I’ve got a fifth one who is on week 9R3 and her medal is ready and waiting.

I think when you’ve worked that hard, it’s lovely to have a medal to remember it by.

I entered the Admiral City of Newport Newport Virtual HM some time ago and had forgotten about it until I got a reminder email. So I’m looking forward to my medal and tee shirt now 🤗
