Hiya,

Today was a 30 min run and I wanted to go SLOW again. The last few runs I ran faster than normal without realizing it and by the end of the run I suffered for it. So I watched a couple of Slow Jogging movies on YouTube, as they usually 'inspire' me to run slow, and set off.

Nice and slow does it. Took me a little time to settle in the right pace, but when I had it I smiled, yes I had forgotten how nice this felt.

I had planned to do some Fartleks in my 3th and 4th interval (I Jeff 4:30 / 0:30), but I almost forgot! I was already over half of interval 3 when I realized it. So I quickly squeezed in some fartleks.

Unfortunately I did find it difficult to find my Slow pace again after the fartleks, struggled a bit with it. Getting the pace I want is still so difficult for me. Patience, time will learn. I hope. But in general I was very happy with my run. Nice, slow, calm and relaxed, just the way I like it ☺

Hi what are the slow jogging movies you watch on YouTube called.

There aren't a lot. I just type in Google 'slow jogging' and there are 2 or 3 movies in which a woman discusses Slow Jogging with a Japanese man and woman. And there is a movie showing a bunch of Polish people practising it on a basketball terrain. The movies are short though, not much to learn from. But it helps me to slow down.

Oh I have watched them and they look like they’re running on their toes and their shoes look quite thin. Have tried it and find difficult with shoes I have so just run slow on mid foot. They’re heel never seems to touch the ground. Pity the basketball one wasn’t in subtitles .

I can't place my feet like them either, I just try my best. I often scrape with my feet over the ground though, need to change that. And yes, I wished for subtitles too 😂
