Today was a 30 min run and I wanted to go SLOW again. The last few runs I ran faster than normal without realizing it and by the end of the run I suffered for it. So I watched a couple of Slow Jogging movies on YouTube, as they usually 'inspire' me to run slow, and set off.
Nice and slow does it. Took me a little time to settle in the right pace, but when I had it I smiled, yes I had forgotten how nice this felt.
I had planned to do some Fartleks in my 3th and 4th interval (I Jeff 4:30 / 0:30), but I almost forgot! I was already over half of interval 3 when I realized it. So I quickly squeezed in some fartleks.
Unfortunately I did find it difficult to find my Slow pace again after the fartleks, struggled a bit with it. Getting the pace I want is still so difficult for me. Patience, time will learn. I hope. But in general I was very happy with my run. Nice, slow, calm and relaxed, just the way I like it ☺
