Hi everyone, I haven’t posted for ages, but did my first run after work yesterday following a two week rest. The really bad weather made sure I did 🥶
Have been having deep tissue massage for a month now which has helped massively, coupled with strengthening exercises.
Finished work and the it was positively barmy☀️I intended to only try 3k I hadn’t done any running for 2weeks. I also decided to do super slow so that didn’t undo any of good strengthening exercises and massage treatments.
I felt so good 💪 that I continued on to 5k. For the first time in 3 month I was jogging properly and comfortably. Going to carry on ‘slow running’ as I have accepted that I’m not getting any younger 😂
Enjoyed the run so much😊 my motivation is back 💪

Well done on your lovely relaxed 5k (my favourite!) You missed nothing not running in that cold weather, so your body is rewarding you now, and clearly your massages and exercises are paying off. 👏👏
