Thought I'd post here to let you know that I'm still going with this.
Looking forward to this week as it ends in an 8km which is the longest distance I've ever run and I have only attempted it the once (which I successfully completed) back in December.
Although I'm not sure how many times I'll be able to go out this week due to the weather forecast, I'm pleased to say that I went out this morning where the ground was covered in snow!
I feel it a bit in my knees at the moment which is probably down to running a bit more carefully and also going out straight after with the kids to enjoy some of the snow
Stay safe out there if you chose to run!!

Great snow run, well done. I did one too it was fantastic, see my post above about grips to help in snow. Good luck with 8k at the weekend, enjoy the snow with the children and happy running 🤗
Not sure I'll be going out tomorrow but we shall see, its -2 now and the pavement is already icey as it is.
Thanks for the advice, I mean to strength train. The Nintendo Switch Ring Fit has some workouts where you can focus on certain parts of your legs so I'll give that a go too.
