Bought my last ones from M&S. They are very old and well used now. Any recommendations?

I always go to bravissimo - they normally have a fitting service but can do this remotely or through their website. Loads of different makes. Give them a try, they really know their stuff. Happy shopping 🤗

Hi I see that you mention bravissimo for good sports bra. Are they quite soft as can’t wear wired as had lumpectomy and next to my ribs. I wear M&S as well but don’t think supportive enough.

I’ve been going there for years as they are superb at fitting. I don’t like their own brand sports bras, too high at the front for me but they stock other brands too. I’ve been running with panache , fantastic non wire bra with clip at back giving the option for a racer back. I go for a cup size smaller (I’m very slim but large cup size) so there is no movement. I jump up and down in changing room to test much to the amusement of the staff. They are doing virtual bra fitting and have 60 day return policy bravissimo.com/collections/...

Hello Granny, spent a small fortune at Bravissimo last night! Will try loads on and send back x

All the best, they are expensive but if you are shaped anything like me they are well worth the money. Do let me know how you get on.

I’m tickled by the message underneath your post telling me to ‘show my support’ 😂

The top vote often seems to be Shock Absorber but I’ve gotten fed up of online shopping/misfits, especially with the particularly weird sizing that is sports bra world, so until shops reopen I’m donning a normal comfy bra with a pretty great Decathlon £3.99 sports bra on top. (It’s really comfy and stretchy, just not enough to support the girls on its own).

Next appear to have a good range of bras, which now includes the Shock Absorber too 👍🏼

Thank you. Totally agree with you about sending stuff back. Am staying the projected death of the High Street...

Another vote for bravissimo - you can order loads of sizes and return for free what you don’t want 😊😊

I've tried a few, but nothing beats Shock Absorber for me. Just be sure to go for a specific running style, not a generic sports one, and I find my usual size is fine. In other news - they don't give you monoboob 😄😄!

🤣 Thanks

Hi Lizcanrun far from being a running bra expert, these people at brooks know running may be the clothing is as good as the shoes 👀??

Hi Lizcanrun I was wearing M&S for years but during Covid I have lost weight so was in a right state kept looking and changing my mind in the end my bra was nearly falling off so went on M&S and chose a pack of 2 high impact sports bras I was delighted with them and so comfy I immediately ordered another pack in different colours Good luck good bras are a must for running

Thanks. Like you I think I have changed shape, which isn't helpful when you can't try things on!

Not being able to try on is a real nuisance isn’t it? It’s so important to get it right ! I’ve only used M&S front zip ones but I know others who swear by Shock Absorber - good luck with the search!

I bought Freya & Shock Absorber bras from Bravissimo. The Freya is my favourite, but both are comfy & give great support. 😄

I use shock absorbers which I source through Bravissimo. They’re not under wired.

I gave up my M&S bras for the Shock Absorber ultimate bra. So very much better. It has been recommended in running bra tests. The size doesn’t relate to my normal bra size but I was fitted at John Lewis (when such things were possible). I wouldn’t buy anything else now.

What fun. I would add that black is better than white. I bought both at the same time and the white one is now grey after washing with sports gear. The black one still looks like new.
