How about just using a micro fibre towel which would fit in a pocket?

I've tried tucking a small one in my belt so it flaps behind me but by the time I've got my 2 outer layers tied round me it's a bit bulky! Thought a little pack would solve it...

There’s lots of choice available in good online running stores. Depends how much you want to carry and for how long. I’m primarily a trail/hill runner and have two packs, a specialist vest type which is probably not appropriate and too expensive for occasional use and a 12litre OMM running backpack which I use when carrying more gear in the hills. The OMM is light, extremely comfortable, don’t notice I’m wearing it after the first 2k, and sensibly priced theomm.com/product/ultra-12/

There are other packs of varying sizes available from both OMM and others. The other alternative is a waist pack, less sweaty and more compact than a backpack. Work out how much gear you’ll be carrying and get the smallest pack that does the job. If you get something bigger you’ll end up stuffing gear you don’t really need in it because you can 😊.

Thanks for replying... All I really want to carry is a micro towel for a swim at the end of my run...I was thinking less than 10 litre....

In which case I’d be looking at something on the waist. 10 litres is quite big for what you want to carry. Perhaps something like this peteblandsports.co.uk/buy/p... might do the job.
