I’m wondering where’s the best place to get running clothes and the like?

Anyone have any suggestions? I’ve used wiggle but they seem to be more interested in cycling

I got all my stuff from Decathlon, it's been washed and washed with no problems

it's not very "chic", but it works

Wiggle started out on cycling supplies so no surprise there.

Sports Direct?

eBay?

I've got stuff from TK Maxx and Lidl so you don't necessarily need to go to specialist shops.

Being in Chipping Norton I’m kind of in the middle of nowhere really. How about online shopping?

sports direct do online shopping, so do Decathlon

might be worth making an effort to head to one physical shop that does online shopping as well just once for sizing and stuff, then you can order online after that

I may have to make the effort of going to Oxford 🥴

I bought the Aldi running trousers recently, but they keep falling down at the back, not a pretty sight. Bra was ok though. Not sure if this of interest though,Chris?😕

I’ll be keeping an eye on them as they are close by

I quite like ronhill , available online and in Cotswold outdoor

M&M

Sportshoes.com

Start Fitness.. (Haven't used them, but I wouldn't have a problem using them)

Wiggle... I use wiggle, they do have some good stuff sometimes.

It's good to have an idea of what you want, then just type it into google.. You'll see the cheapest offer.

I bought all my running clothes (shorts and long and short sleeved tops) on eBay 2 years ago when I started C25k. Most is Karrimor, Ron Hill and bought as bundles from private sellers and all has lasted very well despite being run in 3-4 times a week. If youre not fussy about colours then you can pick up some bargains.

I haven't had to buy any more stuff yet, allthough I did pick up a long sleeved merino wool top from Aldi last winter for those really cold runs. It wasn't expensive and has also lasted well. I believe in running frugally and not stuffing my drawers with things I want rather than need. I did think that running in my old gardening clothes beyond week 3 wasn't really acceptable though!

Shoes are one area where I wouldn't scrimp.

Decathlon for me too, although shoes from a specialist running shop after I started getting knee pain in my cheap Sportsdirect ones!

I’ve got a Tesco burnout tee which is lovely cool and breezy, and a gorgeous Tesco fitted zip top which was a tenner. It’s so lovely you could easily go out in it 😁

Oh all over the place 😃. Wiggle is fine for running gear. Sportsdirect shops and online for bargains. I get nearly all my kit from Lidl and love their stuff

Online wise, Start Fitness, Runners Need, sportsshoes.com, Decathlon. Decathlon is good I reckon and their stuff is well thought out and inexpensive. Run gear wise I really like Ron Hill but you can get that at any of the above

Shoe wise you need to get your shoes fitted for you at a proper running store, once you’ve decided that running is for you.

Next have some nice sports t shirts (wait for sales) and my best running leggings are from Aldi. Such good price and really nice leggings.

The only thing i look for in running bottoms is the zip pocket at the back! Won't even entertain it if it doesnt have one. Small things!

Decathlon is good for running clothes and reasonably priced. I also bought some ASICS running shoes there which were on sale.

EBay is a good source for very lightly used tops, jackets and leggings - lots of good intentions end up there, for teeny prices.

I get mine from Decathlon too and it’s been great.
