Crikey, this was a dodgy one, and on reflection I probably shouldn't have gone. Where I live was like a skating rink, I was having second, third and fourth thoughts on the warm up walk/tiptoe.
But the bigger roads had some clear areas and the lanes have a rough surface, even so I found myself sliding down the camber.
I took it very slow, I don't own trail shoes so I think I did this one Niko Niko. Certainly I didn't achieve any speed, but I did get home in one piece.
As I've said before, this running lark changes us🤩

Well done braving it Jell6, tis indeed chilly-n-slippy I like yourself was in two minds..... But hey I feel all the better for venturing 🤗. Btw is the leg mended from the dog attack ?
And however your New Years Eve is going to go have a great one and a happy safe n healthy 2021 🥳
Ah, thank you Hidden , I'm expecting a very quiet New Year as are most of us probably. Looking forward to a safer 2021. I will be getting part 2 of my covid vaccine in a couple of weeks, hopefully these will move us all into normal. The leg... it's ok, not painful at all but I have a feeling I will always have the scar, certainly it's looking that way.
Best wishes to you and your family, have a safe and healthy 2021🥰
Very impressive Jell6! Glad you made it home in one piece but do be careful out there! Broke my wrist slipping on the ice a couple of years ago - I don’t want to go through that again!
It was certainly very icy today wasn’t it Jell? 😳 I minced round a 5k loop this morning and had to stay running on the frosty gnarly grass.
I passed a lady who’d fallen off her bike by skidding on the ice. She looked ok, and was being tended by two other cyclists. It must have been scary for her.
Stay warm and safe and here’s to a happier 2021. 🥰
Yes!, I just read your post and thought about this!. I hope you are not too badly hurt. I always worry about bumps on the head, but that's just my programming 😶.It's so easy to lose any grip isn't it?
