It was unique, I can't ever remember seeing the moon set AND then the sun rising on the same day, let alone within 4 minutes of each other, in the past I have seen the moon set, always around this time of the year and at other times the sun rising but never before so soon together.

I think it has to be full moon, when its direction mirrors that of the sun, only 12 hours behind. Something like that😊

6 months earlier and 6 months later in June, the sun sets around the same part as the full moon in December sets
