Well "Christmas is coming and I've stopped being fat.." I can run again (slowly) after all these years. I am moving on via (not)parkrun now that I finally can run 5k and am confident enough to do it in daylight. Thanks for all the encouragement and support and the lovely messages sent on my 80th birthday. Keep going, you can do it and google "slow jogging" which provided me with the final solution to enable me to try again after a gap of three decades. Lost 23lbs in weight, bmi now normal, waist size down 5 inches, but best of all, I CAN RUN AGAIN.

THANKS.

Wow. Huge congratulations to you on your running and weight loss achievements. Excellent work. I’ve fallen off the healthy bus over the past few months. I’ll be jumping back on in January. I have a stone to lose. Well done again.
