Lovely Sunday 11km

Very enjoyable run today. Sun out, blue skies, refreshing breeze and dry (well a tiny bit of drizzle). Slow plod, relaxing - no niggling thoughts, no planning or preparation to rush back to 😊. Mad Squiggy chasing squirrels 🐿 as usual! Decided to extend the run a little on to another village and enjoyed looking at Christmas displays in the cottage windows (numbers in each window suggesting a village trail or competition possibly). Then a very slow ascent out of the village up a steep hill, rewarded with a lovely view (see photo). Then back down our usual trail on the old train line. Started off late so lots of folk enjoying a Sunday stroll in the sunshine. Great run 😊

That is so pretty! How I would love to see some green on a run, but alas it is all white and brown for the next 4 months or so. I’m so glad I get to see everyone’s pictures and live vicariously through the forum members 😆

Yes, we are lucky to have lots of lovely places to walk and run in Somerset 😀
