Today was W6 run 3 of the Magic Plan. I'm not sure if I'm doing distance or time - I seem to be mixing them up depending on how I'm feeling.
Mainly 'distance', but today was 'time' - my first ever 60min run! Not 9k as the plan suggests, but I'm still chuffed with running 60mins for the first time ever, and I still felt like has had a bit left in my tank.
So, 2 weeks to go to reach the magical 10k - I'm so determined to get there (without injury as that so often seems to slow me down).
@9weeks2run is keeping me motivated - slightly ahead of me, so it's great to feel like there's someone alongside me so I don't give up.
Thank you everyone for keeping me motivated to keep running in the dark, cold winter months. Knowing you're all there really does keep me going

Fantastic effort, claim your 60min badge to shine beside you as you run those last weeks of the plan. What a marvellous Christmas present your 1st 10k will be. Happy running 🤣
Thank you Grannyhugs - I will go and claim my badge now. Can't wait to get to 10k by the end of this year. The wonderful people on this forum have been a complete life-changer for me
Hey 58 well done for that 60 min run! Did it feel like graduating all over again? You'll soon be at 10k💥 I'm faffing at the moment, thinking I'll do the distance magic plan in the new year🤔
I mixed up the plan a bit too, I think we're at the stage of getting better to knowing what our body wants to do on a run and how to push further Good luck with getting to the 10K mark, it really is an awesome feeling!
Thanks FurtherFaster - I think reaching 10k will be a lot more satisfying than running 60mins. It was only 7 months ago that running 60secs seemed impossible - I really can't believe how much we can achieve having the right positive support around. It's awesome!!
Amazing to be on W6 - keep going Lottie - not far to go for you too 😍😍😍I'll look out for your 60min post on Christmas day then! 🎄Now you'll have to do it !! 🤗
