We got up bright and early, no frost this morning just loads of rain 🌧...so on went the rain jackets and caps, and off we went for our 50 min run! Although we’ve run in rain before, I hadn’t yet experienced the absolute joy of soaking wet toes and my rain jacket seemed to pool rain within the sleeves! Never mind, we did the run and even galloped up the hill again 😱! Had to do a strip out of gear as soon as we got home, absolutely drenched by the time we got back 🥶
I can’t wait to start week 6, we’ve planned another little fartlek session, then we’re doing our old C25k route to see how much progress we’ve made (our pace seems to have increased so I’m hoping we cover more ground in the 30mins along that route) and then a 55min run! Who would have thought it?!
Happy running everyone, hope you are staying safe (and dry!) 👍🏻🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️💫

I’m nearly there too. My first 8k today then onto W5 next week. What a great idea to compare to the old C25k route. I might try that. Sounds like you’ll complete the Magic Plan before Christmas. What an achievement that will be!
We’re aiming to complete it before Xmas and have an Xmas day run planned! Graduating C25K and then continuing to run has been a real high for this year, it’s amazing. Good luck on your Magic Plan too! 🌟
Sounds like a fun run! Best bit of running in the rain is once you get so wet that you can't get any wetter and puddles become something you run through to cool down as opposed to something to be avoided!Happy running.
I certainly felt that this morning...I was feeling so fabulous that I really didn’t realise how absolutely soaked I was until I got in! What a high! 👍🏻
