Guilty feelings of being lazy this week, that night shift feeling caught up with me, another home schooling session for the youngest teenager due to the year isolating ๐ so today damnit I was running, and those lazy feelings were left as home, the fresh air had never tasted and felt so good even if a little chilly. Mr Postman delivered the new Running tights and short combination yesterday and today the legs were glad of the warmth ๐..... And and and........ Drum roll as a proud owner of new spangly toe socks I ran. A nice footpath route starting flat, leading to a steady incline, and looping aound and downhill towards home, just what I needed๐ .
ThisGirlNowRuns I have a partial webbing between 2 toes and short toes so I hesitated trying them as well but am glad I did. They work great for me and I love them. Depending on the severity of your webbing, they may still work for you.
Great buy, both the tights and the socks. Although I'm actually a convert the other way, moving away from leggings and sticking to loose shorts and when too cold the same shorts with loose, woven, training pants over.
Injinji socks are great. I couldn't really get on with them at first but now I rarely run in anything else. I've got toe shoes for around the house and may try some for the trails next spring.
I definitely do like the new foot gloves GoGo_JoJo I've got regular Running tights but when I've got shorts on over them, I feel somewhat overdressed ๐ new tights are a short and tight two in one and so easy to run in ๐
They're quite odd, and so are the socks๐ ๐, seriously though, do they increase the width of your feet? Do your trainers feel tighter?Glad you got out for a run
Heck Jell6 those toes have feelings ๐ฅบ. No I wouldn't say they altered my foot width, I've quite narrow feet, it does feel a little strange have your toes sort of isolated from each other ๐ง but they felt comfy to run in and didn't alter my fit in my trainers ๐
Iโm loving those Imc - what lovely, perfectly formed toes! (Lucky bโโr) I know this is really in the realms of TMI but my burning question is would those socks accommodate a runner with a bunion? asking for a friend.
Thanks lexi6 ๐ค Jell6 take note ๐ however not personally owning a bunion I couldn't say accurately but I really wouldn't see there being a problem as apart from the toe pockets they're like a regular sock ๐
lexi6 I have a bunion and they work very well for me. I actually got them because I was getting blisters where my toe crosses the other one and it has helped immensely on my long runs in the summer.
Thanks so much Saska thats good to know, going to have to get some now. When going out for a run it takes me longer to dress my foot than to put on my running gear. ๐
I have the exact same injinji and love, love, love them. I now have 3 pair of different weights and height depending on my run. Unfortunately I don't use them in winter because I have a winter weight sock I use instead and miss them.
For sure! I have my blue trail ones. They are heavier weight with more cushion and padding on the balls of the feet for the rugged terrain and a 3/4 height to keep the debris out, a lightweight no-show bright pink with navy blue pair that I couldn't resist and I wear for my road running (I don't like them for trail running because debris work their way down into my sock). And finally, a thin light weight 3/4 height black sock for my hot, hot trail runs or campground runs. The trail socks are quite a thick warm sock so I wanted to try a thinner one for those 20-30ยฐC runs and the black helps hide the dirt for when I am running through mud or streams. See, there is some thought and reasoning behind it all ๐ค. Not just all the pretty colours, although that may have played a little role in my selection, well for the pink no show ones anyways๐.
