I feel like I'm late to the party here, but I have no idea and it's mentioned a lot...

Its a challenge of run/ walk from Lands End to John O Groats. Its 874 miles and you've got a year to complete it😊👍
The next one starts on the 23rd November

Just as Buddy37 says. I am watching my daughter do it and it looks great fun. You get virtual postcards at key distance see photos of surroundings and can see where you are on a map. My 6 year old grandson is having fun plotting mummy's progress on a map. My only concern is that she seems to have been on the M6 for rather a long time!! Go for it if it appeals.

I've signed up for LeJoG8 starting end of this month. Didn't know if it was madness or not but it does look good fun plotting your route along the length of the country (assuming I get out of Cornwall :-)). Dog/fell walks can be included to top us the mileage.
I’m doing LEJOG4 which started in mid-August. I’m trying to do it by running only, though you can also walk it or a combination of walking and running. So far I’ve run about 330 miles and I’m just east of Crewe on the virtual map.
It’s seriously addictive and I never thought I’d be this far, this soon!

874 miles (1407 km) in a year?
That's 117 km per month or an average of 7.7 km per run (if you manage to run every other day).
Maybe in six to twelve months' time!
