Another 10km run

I started running 3 years ago (at the age of 59) to take part in a charity event. Since then I’ve continued to run regularly, about 5km a week, and park run (with my daughter who’s much quicker) until it was cancelled. I wanted to run the Croydon 10k in October but it was cancelled too. So pleased with my efforts though, ran 10km last month, and again yesterday. I’m now aiming to run another before Christmas. This app helps with encouragement and tips. Thanks everyone.

Well done on your 10k runs. We started around the same time and I was 60 . I think it’s the best thing I ever did for body and mind.

I too miss parkrun like mad but I do (not) parkrun every week to keep the spirit going. Do check it out and perhaps do it with your daughter . She can still cheer you at the end.

Keep on keeping on, you are doing brilliantly.

Well done, looks like a good route. Do you ever run in the woods? I quite often run in Spring Park woods and love it.
