So today I had my type 2 Diabetic annual review. I was diagnosed about five or six years ago and told each time to eat better and lose weight. I tried and tried but no improvement at all. So this year I completed C25K and am now engrossed in Ju Jus plan. I’ve lost so it seems 3 and a half waist inches, 5kg, and a couple of BMI bits.
Now I’m officially in ‘Diabetic Remission’ with no signs of Diabetes at this time.
What a wizard plan this is, take a bow NHS.....take a great big bow......!

Thank you. She was very pleased. She then said something like 'I could never run...' but I urged her to get off the couch and give it a go. I said that was the hardest first step and she wouldn't know until she tried. I might have got us another convert to the magic plan!!
You take the biggest bow! You put in the work and the hard yards. Consistency is key with running and if it becomes a habit then habits are hard to break.
Thank you Littleoyellow. I am really enjoying it, and am determined to keep going and with such great support from this lovely community, how could I not!
Congratulations 030961! I was diagnosed with T2D 2.5 years ago, just before starting c25k. At my annual review last year I was at the bottom of the pre-diabetes range. I'm still running 3 times a week and am hopeful that at my next review I too will be in remission.🤞👍
