I went for an early run today (well, early for me at 8:30). It turned out faster than I had initially planned, because frankly I had lots to do this morning! I did a lovely looped route along the river, crossing two (big) bridges i.e. what feels like mountains. I did a little over 5k, and looking at my splits each km was faster than the last. I don't do that often I was surprised I managed, even having set out faster than usual!
On the downside though it was cold! I was wearing my new shirt which was great because it comes over your hands if you want, which was needed! I felt though it took me a solid 3km to warm up. I do think the cold affects me a lot, so I'm not sure how I'm feeling about winter coming around the corner. On the other hand I'm sure I just need gloves and I'll be good to go
Overall a nice start to the running week!

Awesome! Yes, gloves and for me a woolly hat to keep my ears warm and I'm good to go. Running leggings too when it's very cold. All good in your corner of the world. Keep going and enjoying because I love reading your posts 😊
