Was very pleased to finish week 1 and 2 of the magic plan in consecutive weeks! 😅 But now it is a rest week...
I am doing the distance plan and managed 6km in just under 40 mins which I am happy with, and really enjoyed it. When I headed out I thought to myself I could always make it my short run, but got in a rhythm and enjoyed my 155bpm Spotify play list and the 6k actually felt easy.
But, I have had some calf pain and began a religious programme of stretching - it feels better after a run /yoga/stretches so I think this is the right approach. But rest was coming for me as now have a blasted cold and am doing nothing!! A bit frustrating but hopefully with time off the legs and more stretching I will be back for week 3 before too long...
And just in case the calves did need rest then the cold is at least making that happen 🤷♀️
By the way, how can I catch a cold when I see hardly anyone and am washing my hands all the time!!?

Very well done with W1&2 of Magic! 😄 - How frustrating about the cold, but you will be better & scampering along soon. I have come to the conclusion that “glitches” is part of running like “falling off” is part of riding a horse! 🙄
I identify with “how can I have caught this?” - I have just had to press the pause button on Magic 10 because of some minor but persistent bug.
I'm in a very similar place to you C25kvic. I've just finished W3 of Magic plan, doing a mix of the distance & time (depending on how I feel on the day), but have pushed myself too hard, by running through the pain of a bad hip. Now I definitely need to take a break as I can barely walk, let alone run! Grrrrr!
So, at least a week off - which is really frustrating. Lesson learnt..... rest is SO important in order to keep going. Hope you make the most of your rest, get over your 'wherediditcomefrom' cold, and keep on stretching!
Let us know when you're back and running again, but in the meantime, wishing you well during your rest time
