A short 18 min run but it was really hard 🥺 and to think I did run just over 6K and 56 mins not that long ago 🤷♀️. I am such a fair weather person so I MUST syke myself up to get out whatever the weather even for 30 mins. I keep seeing all these 10k’s being done and I think “I can do that” but I know I can’t do it from my bed 🤗😂. I am pleased that I got out this morning though and hopefully this will continue more regularly as I don’t want to waste what I did manage to achieve. I also want to lose 1st 😂

I know where you are coming from. I'm in the same boat. I have to kick myself out the door. I find having dedicated running days and times help. I am trying to get back up to 10K too. The longer runs are great for shifting the little bit of weight. Just keep getting out there. A group of us here run a Virtual 5K/(not)parkrun every Saturday morning. Look out for the post. We run our own 5K and then post a little run report underneath. It's keeping me motivated to stay running. I've slowed down a lot, but I'm still getting out there. Join in on Saturday. It's good fun and a lovely group.

You can absolutely do it! I feel that you deserve the best chance and to give yourself that it is all about commitment and consistency. Be kind to yourself too, it's so important. Don't think in terms of what you can do better, more what you can do differently. The feeling after any run in any weather is better than no run. I pick my run days each week (usually the same) and just go. Once it becomes a habit then habits are hard to break. You deserve that 10k and the happiness running brings and I can't wait to hear you get there.
