Decided to to take the Nike Run Club ‘Run with Mo’ this morning. Woke up before the alarm as I often do when I’m going out for an early morning run. It was cool and misty out there, lovely running weather.
Finished my 5 min warm up walk, got the music going.....Eye of the tiger 🎶 🐯 off I went....the run, which lasts 37 mins, consists of Mo with Coach Bennett, taking you through various paced runs.....5k pace 10k pace 1 mile pace....mine all seemed very similar 😂 you’d actually be hard pushed to tell the difference between any of them.....Anyway, I’m on about the third 5k pace, which is 2 mins.....well done says Mo in an ‘I’m reading this off a card and trying to sound perfectly natural way’ just 30 seconds to go he says......so I try for an extra spurt.....still spurting, still spurting, getting redder, still spurting.......Mo ! Where are you !! Then he eventually reappears....’well done one minute completed? what !!! Yep you guessed it....a malfunctioning Mo....carried on though until the end, with Mo describing the 1 mile pace runs as ‘fun’ nope couldn’t quite see that myself 🥵........finally the run came to an end, checked my phone and it said I’d run for 23 mins and covered 3.5k ? Checked my Fitbit knowing I’d gone further and this showed 5.63k and it hadn’t been 23 mins ! .......I wish ! Wouldn’t that be something.
Despite the setbacks I still really enjoyed the run and even managed to take our puppy Harvey out for a long walk when I got home.....isn’t it great to feel fit 😊

Haha I love the Nike Run app, but which guided run was it you did?? I had No popping up at the end of the run but that was all. Do you ever find yourself answering Coach Bennett out loud, or that just me??!🤫🤫😁🏃♀️🏃♀️

Love the way you end here! It is so great to feel fit. The after run feeling is so hard to beat. Actually running like that every now and then for a mile will really help you too.
Thanks GTFC, I’m trying to mix things up a bit with distance somedays and speed on others, also sometimes just a run with nothing much in mind is nice too 👍🏃♂️
