I find the hilly twin skin socks very good.
Compede blister plasters are fantastic. I've used other brands, but they dont stay on like the Compede ones which are like a second skin.

Excellent socks 🧦 👍
There is a brand called Spenco 2nd Skin which is very good.
Upto three layers
1. A gel that you cut to size if you have broken the skin.
2. A padding layer, which I rarely use
3. A tape layer - like a fabric plaster but it stays on really well even in the shower.
You can use various combinations.
1 plus 2 plus 3
1 plus 3
2 plus 3
or just 1. I usually find this enough to prevent the blister in the first place.
I recently tried a compeed plaster and was surprised at how well it stayed on and protected my toe. I always thought they looked a bit plasticy.
I was also surprised at the Compeed stick (like a lipsalve) for preventing a blister.
I have to say that I only get blisters with walking boots, usually with the wrong socks.
I also like the hilly twin socks, especially when my feet get wet - the first time I wore them through icy water my feet got really cold but within 5 minutes they warmed up and stayed warm until the end of the run
