Eventually saw my GP who coincidentally has an orthopaedic specialty. He suspects meniscus injury and I’ve been referred for a scan. No running or long walks allowed. Non weight bearing exercise only until my leg muscles are strengthened. Picking up an exercise bike later this morning

Really sorry that you are still sidelined with this ForestGrump63 - so frustrating for you. I think its good that you have been referred for a scan though, as it will help pinpoint exactly what the problem is.

Oh no! I had a meniscus tear a few years ago and it wasn't pleasant. Hope you make a speedy recovery.
