It was all a dream! I thought I must have fallen asleep on the beach 🏖 at St Yves, after a night out at the Bucket of Blood 🩸 🩸🩸 pub, getting an almighty heat stroke 🥵, when dozing off I felt as if I was being dragged onto a bus 🚌 , forced to endure the blatant ignoring of all rules of the run {not race😉}. And when I ended up back in Penzance I mightily regretted having that one last pint! 🍺
But it was all a dream! 💭
Of course I did not drink. 🤔 Of course I did not cheat! 🏴☠️ Without me knowing it, I ran on! 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏾♀️
Yes, my friends. I know now that you also did not step onto that ill-fated bus, and also did not get swept back to the start of the race. We all did actually run on!
Without conscious thought as if in 165BPM trance, without any lament about the music or hip flexors, without any goals of 5k or 10m, I also ran on until I found myself way ahead on the map, not knowing how I got there!
Was it the gregarious kind of gremlins? The Jefferly gliding runner ghosts, was it the kind Cornish pixies?
Or was it the magic that is another RunLEJOG running update!
Anyway, I’m not only back where I was but moved forward quite a bit, thanks to the RunLEJOG kindred spirits!
Have a wonderful run, everyone!
